Best Neighborhood Theme
The theme of Sunday night's Welcome Reception was Chicago neighborhoods and the exhibit hall was divided into various neighborhoods such as Chinatown, Little Italy, Wrigleyville etc. During the reception, the exhibitors were then invited to decorate their displays to highlight their assigned Chicago neighborhood. A winner of the "Best Neighborhood Theme" was then awarded. Actient and Slate Pharmaceuticals won the award for their display of the Wrigleyville neighborhood which featured standard ballpark food including hot dogs, popcorn and all their representatives dressed in Chicago Cubs t-shirts.
